Le Portougais, Chalet À Chanaz

Nous avons apprécié plusieurs choses : le logement est fonctionnel et bien agencé, le lit était fait à notre arrivée, et l’emplacement est vraiment très agréable, que ce soit pour profiter de Chanaz, du lac du Bourget, des plages, des randonnées, du canal de Savière ou des restaurants à proximité. Le fait que les animaux soient acceptés est également un vrai plus. Nous avons trouvé le rapport qualité/prix intéressant et vous avez toujours été joignable et réactif lorsque nous avions besoin de vous. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions : les bières locales mises à disposition pour découvrir les produits du coin, les madeleines et confiseries pour les enfants, ainsi que l’apéritif offert au moment du départ, qui nous a vraiment fait plaisir, encore merci 🙏 🤗🌸

Wifi instable et insuffisant À notre goût, ménage insuffisant

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung in einem alten Haus am See. Super, dass es einen Kamin gibt, es kann bei niedrigen Temperaturen etwas kalt sein. Sehr modernes Bad und gemütliches Bett. Kleiner Garten. Total Ruhe drumherum und schöne Natur. Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter hat gut funktioniert. Self Check Inn war entspannt.

Die Küche und einige Geräte könnten sauberer sein. Außer Salz und Pfeffer ist nichts vorhanden.

Établissement très proche du lac du Bourget à 1klm du port de conjux… À 50m du restaurant la bonne auberge où on y mange super bon 👍🏻 Je recommande

It is located directly at the canal that leads from Chanaz to the Lac du Bourget, it’s a very lovely spot. The owner is very welcoming and responsive, he wants his guests to feel comfortable.

The garden is not at all like on the pictures. The terrace has been derigged and craft material was stacked along the wall. Also, the garden is shared with the owner, which isn’t visible in the pictures. What made us leave early was the animal situation in the garden. The garden seems to be used regularly by at least one dog to do their business, and it apparently hadn’t been cleaned for a while, so the smell was quite strong. On top of that, there are two very scrawny cats seemingly living on the property, one of them bloody and purulent, both of them full with fleas, and they come begging for food as soon as you set foot in the garden. They would try to get on our lap when we ventured to sit in the garden despite the smell, and I love cats but those two were in no condition to cuddle. Needless to say, they also did their business in the garden. We don’t have a place to sit outside at home, and the weather forecast was too good to be spending the week inside (also, frankly, I find the apartment with one window too dark to spend a lot of time there, the picture makes it seem brighter than it is), so we usually choose holiday apartments based on how cosy the garden looks like. So we decided to shorten our stay and look for an alternative. The owner had been very reactive before our arrival, but stopped replying when we let him know our decision to leave.
