Newly Renovated w Exposed Brick

The value and location were great. It's just what I needed for a short stay. It was clean and simply remodelled. Very nice and good A/C

2 Major things - if you offer a kitchen - you need either a microwave (even a small one) or a toaster over (not a regular toaster - but the one with the door). If you can't heat a frozen pizza or a frozen dinner in a room that supposedly has a kitchen - can you really call it a kitchen? That is SO easily fixable but very necessary. Also - a pot holder! I burned my fingers trying to double over some paper towels to pick up the pot from the burner. Having a kitchen is very economical but only if it's functional!

The location was great, apartment felt secure and communication from the host was excellent and the place was very clean.

Apartment was lacking a couple of bar stools to eat at the island and a full length mirror. Otherwise, great apartment.

It has a sofa, TV has netflix and disney app, internet is fast enough, great kitchen space and can cook simple meals, good water pressure for the shower, location is 30 minutes walk to town, 5 minutes to metro to town, good food choice around, easy UBER delivery. Host respond fast enough (only via messages, phone number DOES NOT WORK at all, so don't try to call) during day time, we were able to put our luggage in the apartment before check in time so we can continue to explore Boston during the day.

STAIRS!!! I prob would not book if I knew it is on the 2nd floor and there are 5 steps to the front door of the apartment, and the apartment is then on the second floor. We were on the round the world trip, so lugging 23 kg each plus a carry on is a night mare. The Host's Smart lock back fire on next apartment to us, we were woken up at 11:45pm one night by next door neigbour because they got locked out as the smart lock was out of battery. There is an emergency lock box but the host did not give them the code. I was in the hallway in the code trying to figure out from the internet if a 9V battery could jump start the lock. The next door guest was agitated and after 11pm the host took a while to respond. Their phone number does not accept incoming call at all, or text so nothing works. Evenutally after midnight the host got back to me and the next door with the code on the manual lock box and they were able to get in. No microwave, which is very annoying trying to reheat simple thing like tea food. Confusing instructions, it say to run the dishwasher when you leave but there is no dishwasher and so have to hand wash dishes, which I haven't done in 10 years. I also don't like the metal bed base as everytime you move it make sounds. Aircond is a bit weak but its not too hot, its a tiny box unit and quite noisy.
