    It was a great experience staying in Boracay during habagat season. And staying in Casa Friesta a front beach accomodation adds to it. The staff are warm & accomodating. Overall our stay in Casa Fiesta is totally worth it.

    We recently booked our Boracay trip through Agoda and reserved two hotels for two nights each: Diamond Edge Waterfront and Casa Fiesta Hotel. Our stay at Diamond Edge Waterfront was smooth and hassle-free. It was our first time staying there, and everything went exactly as booked. We were given the correct room, the check-in process was easy, and overall it was a good experience. However, our experience with Casa Fiesta Hotel during our last two nights was disappointing and confusing. This was not our first time staying at Casa Fiesta, so I am already familiar with their room rates and accommodations. We specifically booked a Triple Sea View Room since we were three people, and the rate we paid matched the usual price for that type of room. Upon arrival, the owner informed us that the booking forwarded to them through Booking.com was only for a double room. I explained that I had a printed confirmation from Agoda clearly stating that we booked a Triple Sea View Room. The owner then mentioned that Agoda is not directly accredited with them and that they only deal with Booking.com, which was apparently the platform that forwarded the reservation. In the end, we were only given a double room with one double bed. Thankfully, they were considerate enough to provide one extra bed so the three of us could still be accommodated comfortably. Still, it was frustrating because the room we received was not the room we actually booked and paid for. The whole situation was very confusing because Agoda and Booking.com seem connected in some way, yet the booking details did not match properly between the two systems. It created unnecessary stress during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. After this experience, I realized that sometimes it may be better to contact hotels directly and make reservations with them personally instead of relying entirely on online booking platforms.
