TIA Layover Rooms

TIA layover rooms is a fantastic idea & it served our purpose extremely well. We had been travelling over Albania in a rental car from Europcar & had an early morning flight to catch for our journey home. The location is fantastic. It's only a few minutes walk from Europcar & from the airport. We checked in to TIA, left our luggage, drove to give the car back & walked back to TIA. The room had 3 single beds which were extremely comfortable. There is a mini fridge with water. Donald, the manager was very helpful & organised a free shuttle bus to the airport for 07.00 the next day. It would be a little difficult to walk to the airport with luggage as you would be forced to walk next to cars & over an uneven dirt track. The whole procedure went very smoothly. The rooms & beds are comfortable.

With a few improvements TIA layover rooms can be wonderful. The bathroom needs urgent attention. The drainage in our shower seemed to be blocked so the water didn't drain & there appeared to be no silicone sealant AT ALL between the shower glass & the ledge on which it was placed & the ledge &.the bathroom floor. After a minute of showering, the whole bathroom floor was absolutely flooded. Three pairs of plastic flip flops had been provided & we quickly understood why! The whole complex is still a lot of a building site, but this is to be expected as it's not completed yet. I wish them well in the future.

Comfy beds, convenient place

Host sent a message saying that if we didn't confirm the time of arrival he would cancel without refund. But on booking ot said they had 24h check in. We didn't have internet so it was inconvenient +Mold in shower
