Set within a secluded 18-acre valley in the North Devon National Landscape, on the edge of Exmoor National Park and within the Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve and North Devon UNESCO Biosphere, it offers a truly exceptional setting for large family gatherings, celebrations and group escapes.

LAKEVEIW FARMHOUSE PRIVATE GARDENS
Lakeview Farmhouse has two private gardens: a cottage garden to the side and a generously sized secluded lawn garden to the rear.
The lawn garden overlooks the lake and has beautiful views down the valley towards the sea. It is a wonderful place for alfresco dining, sunset drinks, stargazing or slow mornings with coffee.
Outdoor furniture seats up to 20 guests and can also be used for dining outside.
The Farmhouse garden also has its own Kadai fire bowl and professional BBQ grill set. BBQ utensils are provided, but guests need to bring their own charcoal.

CEDAR WOOD HOT TUB
Immerse yourself in the warm waters of the 6 persons cedar wood hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views over the lake, through the valley and down to the sea and the setting sun. The hot tub is situated on its own terrace, in the bank above the lake. It also has its own changing room and outdoor shower.
As the hot tub is not a jacuzzi, the bubbles to enjoy are those in your sparkling wine. The warm water of our hot tub is calm, clear and quiet. Just perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
The Hot Tub is for all guests in the private estate to enjoy and can fit up to 6 people. Hub Experience sessions are charged at £60 per hour (£10 per person based on 6 sharing).
WILD SWIMMING IN THE LAKE
Be sure to bring your swimming costume or wetsuit and hop in our lake for a wild swim.
You will also find a large firepit located by the Lake for Guests to enjoy day or night, particularly perfect for large groups. Enjoy a wild swim in the lake and warm up by the firepit after, or gaze at the star filled sky at night. Longlands looks out onto one of the few Dark Sky Reserves in the world. Watching a full moon rise at dusk by the warm of the firepit is truly a memorable experience.
Our lake can also be used for boating and we have a skiff named ‘Mini Bird’. She can hold two adults or one adult and 2 children. Life jackets of varying sizes are provided.
Whilst Vrbo reference the Wild Swimming Lake as a "pool" in amenities, please note swimming facilities at Longlands Devon are a Natural, Wild Swimming Lake, not a man made swimming pool.
