"Das Ännehaus" vacation home with charm, 1 to 6 persons

The "Ännehaus" is located on a small, rural farm that keeps horses and ponies. It was built in 1877 and has been a home to many people over the years. Today, it still retains the cozy charm of an old building, combined with modern elements. The living room features a large couch for relaxing. A TV with satellite, books, and a few board games are available. The dining table seats 6 people.
The kitchen is equipped with a new stove and oven.
From the bedroom on the first floor, you can enjoy a unique view—the garden, green pastures, and, on the horizon, the winding tower of the former Auguste Viktoria coal mine and the impressive Evonik grounds.
The bedroom upstairs takes you back in time—little has been changed to preserve its old-world charm. This also means low doors and exposed ceiling beams, so taller people should watch their heads.
The bathroom is modern and features a shower stall.
A large, fenced-in garden is part of the property and invites you to relax under an old chestnut tree.
The house has its own driveway and private entrance.
We also live on the property with our dogs, but we’re separated by a fence. Cyclists and hikers will find this a great starting point for their excursions.
