The Ardèche gorges region can be visited from April to the end of October and whatever the date of your stay, you will be delighted to discover it. The house is 200 meters from the city center with all local services. The main street is reserved for pedestrians from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There are two markets in July and August: Wednesday evening and Friday morning. The house is located 1km from the river for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There are many sports activities (mountain biking, hiking, tree climbing, horse riding...) and tourist activities (caves of the Madeleine, Orgnac, the Pont-d'Arc cave for the latter Chauvet: remember to contact the site to book, old villages with Romanesque churches and castles (Largentière, Balazuc, Joyeuse). You can also discover the Ardèche cuisine. The house is located 8 km from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. Presentation of the old two-storey house of 80 square meters. On the first floor, an air-conditioned kitchen of 20 square meters fully equipped EXCEPT the dishwasher, a first bedroom of 17 square meters with a bed of 140, a cot, a high chair, a wardrobe, a second bedroom of 13 square meters with a bed of 120, a bed of 90, a dresser. The 2 bedrooms communicate but are each equipped with air conditioning. You have the possibility to use the linen of the house for a contribution of 20 euros. There is a terrace with a table and 4 chairs and in a discreet corner is the toilet. On the first floor, a room of 20 square meters with a sofa bed, a table, chairs, washing machine and board games, next to this room a bathroom with a sink and a shower in the background. There is the possibility of barbecue-plancha, we can set up a table and chairs under the mulberry plane tree but there is no swimming pool. Your dog will be welcome and your cats will be accepted. NO ONLINE PAYMENT. RATES for 2025 (some former tenants call me directly). The rates are valid for 4 people and for a week I ask for an additional 10 euros for the fifth person, 20 for the sixth. There are no overnight stays during the summer school holidays.
