We had a most delightful time at the Stockbridge home. It’s walking distance to Tanglewood and convenient to “downtown” Lenox and Stockbridge. The home has a lush garden and enjoys a beautiful view to Lily Pond. Inside, there are high ceilings and large windows, giving plenty of light. The home is immaculate. The rooms are well-proportioned and very nicely decorated, with appealing paintings – it’s not over-stuffed like some homes. Sofas, chairs and especially the beds are very comfortable. The place is very well-equipped with linens, pillows, dishes, glasses, pots, pans, utensils and all kinds of cooking implements. There’s a lovely screened porch, open on three sides, with very high ceilings – our favorite place to hang out. The managers, David and Anni, are nice and accommodating. In short, it was a perfect home away from home. We’re already planning our return visit next year.
