Little Swift 2

A lot of space compared to other guesthouses in the same price range. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The laundry is done for no extra charge. Big TV with good streaming services. The unit has backup power inverter trolley. The refrigerator is nice and big. Braai facility is nice if it is cleaned daily. The shower is very big and the bathroom is spacious.

In 7 days the place was only cleaned once. Kitchen basin spatters everywhere because of the spout. Please service the refrigerator door hinges to get rid of the annoying sound. Fix the safety gate lock that is broken. Parking is a bit of a problem because of the jojo tank and the VERY small garage, if you have a big vehicle.

I really enjoyed staying at Little Swift 2. The place was nice, clean, and comfortable. I loved how peaceful it was, and everything was well-kept. The room was neat, the environment was quiet, and it felt like a perfect spot to relax. I also liked that it’s self-catering, so it felt more like home. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d definitely go back.

The self-check-in system worked perfectly — quick, easy, and completely hassle-free. Our host, Nanette, was friendly and helpful over WhatsApp, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The unit is situated in a neat, quiet, and safe gated complex. It is modern and surprisingly spacious for an overnight establishment, offering all the amenities one could need in a self-catering facility. We felt right at home and will definitely return. The smart TV with streaming options, including Netflix, was a great bonus. Parking in the garage was especially convenient. The unit is also close to shopping malls and the town centre, yet remains quiet and secure — truly a gem. We had a fabulous stay.

Sadly, there were two minor inconveniences. It was raining when we arrived, and a small doormat would have been ideal for cleaning and drying our shoes before entering, especially as the entrance leads directly from the lawn. Additionally, the geyser appears to be a gas unit — while the hot water worked perfectly, it cuts off when the mixer is turned toward the cold side, which was a bit inconvenient.

I liked the location of the property, it was close to the mall and Lake Umuzi
