The place wouldn't be so bad if they would just rip out the outdated carpet and put in some cheap laminate flooring at the very least. My husband and I had to make sure and wear shoes in the room. The rocking chairs and balcony are phenomenal. The view is amazing. The room is obviously outdated but the smell! Holy crap! Thankfully I do not have smell thanks to COVID but my poor husband. We had dryer sheets on hand and had to sprinkle them like Easter eggs throughout the room to make it tolerable for him. Not cigarette smell but musty closed up smell. Like old feet he said lol. Location is great. Could easily walk down to the pancake place for breakfast. Not a bad value for the money but come armed with an air freshener. Also they really need to put in a key drop box so if staff is out we could drop our keys in for check out. Staff was out when we went to breakfast and had to go back and drop it off.
