The location is fine, about a 30 minute walk to the centre of PDI and the lighthouse in the opposite direction. Quiet area with supermarkets and restaurants close by. (The Love and Hate diner have great food at very reasonable prices). Pool area was clean the gardens well .maintained.

I arrived by taxi around 22:30 and there was nobody on reception and it was all in darkness. (You need to be aware that the signage is "Vista Dorada" and not Golden View. I called the number on Booking.com several times before someone eventually called back and gave me my room number with the combination for the key safe. As others have mentioned things are a bit worn but the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfy and the shower gave hot water for about 1 minute. Never saw a cleaner all week but there was about 6 towels so I wasn't too concerned by this as Im well trained and always clean up after I leave for the day. I did arrive just before the season fully started and the reception did appear to be open fully before I left.

Apartamento viejo, la primera noche la persona que dormía en el sillón no tenía ni sabanas ni mantas ni almohadas, el apartamento estaba lleno de cucas por todas partes , nunca he puesto ningún comentario en mis años con booquin, pero esto ya se salió de madre , un desastre, para alquilarlo en esas condiciones mejor no lo alquilas , una vergüenza,
