Sokol House New Town

My stay here was nothing short of a miracle. The accommodation is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully appointed with all the essentials. The shared laundry in the main building was convenient and easy to access. There’s also a central courtyard where guests gather, which made it incredibly easy to meet people. I ended up making quite a few friends during my stay. Yanna, my point of contact, was phenomenal, communicative, empathetic, and consistently responsive. If I ran an apartment hotel, I’d hire her without hesitation. The location is hard to beat, right in the center of everything, and I’d especially recommend this spot for solo travelers looking for a comfortable place to stay with a social element.

Things to note are there isn’t 24-hour staff and the laundry is shared in the main building rather than in-unit. These aren’t deal breakers but worth mentioning.

The mattress wasn’t comfortable at all. They had put two thin mattresses together and the top one slid in the middle of the night sometimes.
