Apartmint at Liberty C - Philadelphia

The location is good and the place was mostly clean. The hosts were helpful and responded quickly to the issues we experienced.

The directions for getting access to the property were sent a few hours before check in. There were so many steps that it was difficult to follow and hard to get in. In addition, the directions were also incorrect. I had trouble accessing the property using the directions and we couldn’t lock the door and had to figure out our own way to lock it. Also, we stayed for three days and we’re only given one wash and one bath towel between both of us for three days. I had to ask for more towels, and there were no hand towels given it all, even after asking and being told that we would get them. Also, the apartment is not up to code. The fire and carbon monoxide alarms were ripped from the ceilings. Also, the bedsheets were really thin and the pillowcases did not match. It felt like I was in my kids college dorm. The furniture is also really cheap and there were bugs in the apartment. There were several issues. I only brought up two to the host because I didn’t feel that anything else would be done. We asked to check out two hours later and were still charged a $40 fee to do so. I think that they could have at least waived the $40 considering some of the issues that we had while we were there.
