Cozy Scenic Farmhouse Retreat

The property is nestled amongst abundant greenery. It has many plantations and it is absolutely refreshing to wake up to birds chirping and the quietness otherwise. The room we stayed at has a cozy setup for families and couples. The property is well maintained and lush with trees. The room was tidy and all the amenities were provided such as - fresh towels & sheets, provision to heat water and refrigerate, fans, AC, Internet and TV. A dewan was accommodated in the room upon request. The hosts - Mrs Claret and Mr Santhosh are a delightful couple who are warm and great at conversations. They both were constantly concerned about our comfort and the facilities. Books were provided at the stay and Mr Santhosh suggested books to read that can help us in exploring Mangalore and nearby locations. The breakfast is complimentary and was sumptuous. We were served cucumber dosa, corn dosa, sambar, chutney, cutlets, fruits, Holige, tea for breakfast. Mrs Claret served us tea in the evenings with some treats - cakes, mixture . The dinner was tasty and we wished we had eaten more 😊. Mrs Claret is an extremely patient and gracious lady who waited for us and reheated our tea when we got late. Mr Santhosh showed me their farm and spoke at length about the various trees at the property. He is a warm gentleman who was very concerned about our sleep 😊. The hospitality that was extended to my parents and I will always be memorable. We felt welcome and this being our first home stay, was above and beyond our expectations and I’d recommend the place and the hosts anytime.

I’d recommend that the property consider adding a facility where drivers accompanying guests can freshen up. This would enhance the experience for guests who arrive by cab or other transport, ensuring that both they and their drivers are accommodated comfortably.
