The entire house was excellent — warm, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. We’re truly grateful for their hospitality! Just a note: if you’re traveling with elderly guests, please be aware that the stairs are quite steep.

Nice picturesque place from the outside. And an amazing view from the balcony.

That bathroom downstairs at the end of that really really steep stairwell (technically a ladder) makes it very uncomfortable to use during the day and a reason to guide your kids down at night. The place is right next to the main house and although their terrain is big, staying in the house you do not have your own private garden area. Also no curtains in the big bedroom and no oven pans. TV did not work and the washing machine kept bouncing around so we stopped using it. Central Oslo is a 55 minutes drive.
