Super Hotel O Santacruz Railway Junction Formerly Kharsubway

We booked two rooms under separate booking IDs, which were apparently triple-sharing rooms. Unfortunately, the rooms provided to us on the ground floor were absolutely terrible and far below what we expected. The rooms were cramped and had visible mold on the ceiling, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene and maintenance perspective in room 102. TV remote was also not functioning properly. When a room is booked and paid for in advance, we expect the hotel staff to ensure that all basic amenities—including the air conditioner, television, Wi-Fi, and other facilities—are in proper working condition before handing over the room to guests even if the place is small. Our second booking was on the first floor, and the room was comparatively better than the ground-floor rooms as there were no molds on the ceiling. However, even this room had a serious safety issue. My brother, who was staying alone in the room, found tiny pieces of broken glass beside the bed. He unfortunately stepped on one of them, resulting in an injury and bleeding. When this was reported to the hotel staff/manager, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to justify the situation by saying that my brother had not handed over the room key to them for cleaning. This is an absolutely ridiculous response. The glass had not been broken by my brother—it was already present in the room when it was provided to him. If the room had been properly inspected and cleaned before check-in, such a dangerous object should never have been left beside the bed in the first place. The overall attitude and customer service demonstrated by the hotel staff/management were extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, the breakfast was provided wrapped in newspaper, along with an extremely small 30-50 ml serving of tea/coffee. This is hardly the standard of service one would expect from a hotel. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant stay. The poor room maintenance, hygiene issues, lack of basic amenities, safety concerns, and dismissive attitude of the staff made the experience even worse. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. There are several better alternatives in the Vakola/Khar area available at similar prices. Save yourself the trouble and choose another property. I would also suggest you to not book the place online and instead visit the hotel/stay and check out the rooms yourself before making the payment. We had already paid for the stay and hence didn't have much options available.

Fantastic stay

Great budget option! The room was small but exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect—just a short walk from the railway station. Staff were polite Excellent value for money in Mumb
