Sandra is a member of Schwarzwald Plus, giving free bus/train travel plus free entrances to a whole range of attractions and facilities (don't miss this!) The Bergstation is very isolated and is surrounded by nature with forest hiking trails. Very few cars, quiet and relaxing Very clean, excellent bathroom and shower. Large bedroom with great views.
The kitchen in the 1 bed apartment did not have an oven (small microwave with grill function instead) or extraction fan over the hob. Meal prep for a longer stay would have been challenging. Isolated position made telephone reception poor and wi-fi signal was weak and intermittent (was better in the car park) No bus connection to Schapbach (3.5km)
