Some places are best experienced not only through the sights you visit, but also through the places you stay. In the Greek islands, this is especially true. The most authentic way to experience a Greek island is to combine it with staying in a traditional Greek home. Sylvia’s house is the perfect example of this. It beautifully blends traditional Greek character with a modern touch. Although it’s located right in the center, it remains peaceful, quiet, and pleasantly cool thanks to its location. Waking up to beautiful sunrises, ending the day with lovely sunsets, and constantly hearing the sound of birds made every moment there feel incredibly relaxing. We actually found ourselves looking forward to spending time at the house just as much as exploring the island, which says a lot about how special the place is. Sylvia takes care of everything from beginning to end, paying attention to every detail and always being ready to help with anything you need. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sifnos.

The property had everything you needed for a comfortable stay! Clean and beautiful, really made you feel like you were on a Greek island! Close to the town but not in a busy area. Very quiet so you can relax. Highly recommend, we loved it!! Easy communication with the host.

You must be comfortable with driving in Greece to get here, as I recommend a car to stay here! There is a short walk from the car park to the property which can make it difficult if you have lots of luggage or accessibility requirements. If you don’t have a car, you will need to climb a lot of stairs from the Apollonia centre square and if you have a lot of luggage like we did, this would be difficult.
