What an amazing house! We thought the house was beautifully decorated and a great size for a family. The downstairs living area with fireplace was the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing. The location is great for quick access to Cardrona. An easy walk to the Cardrona Hotel for dinner if you don't feel like cooking. The kitchen is very well equipped if you do want to cook.
While there is a lovely fireplace and a wall unit for heating in the living area, we did find some areas of the house to be quite cold. The front door seems to need a seal to be put around it as a draught was coming in. The downstairs twin room by the front door was very cute for two kids but was extremely cold. The kids needed to sleep upstairs where it was a bit warmer.

Location is magnificently convenient for using Cardrona mountain! Convenient to bring the car straight to the property and unpack from the boot!

Lovely open fire place with lots of wood in the garage. When we first arrived it was cold weather but we found comfy blankets on the lounge to keep us warm until the fire heated the whole room.
Good to have a dishwasher but there were no dishwasher capsules for the machine. We needed a few to get a load started before getting to the shops.
