This was a great accommodation. A cute little boat, near the two unesco world heritage sites. A pretty different way of spending a holiday, I would normally highly recommend it just for the experience, but this accommodation went even above and beyond my expectations, because of the host, Nuno. Nuno was incredible, gave us excellent advice of things to do and where to eat, responded to every request and made us feel super at home. He even took us sailing one day, which was really nice. By the end of the trip it felt more like having made a new friend, than having rented someone's boat
Honestly, it was pretty perfect. I guess the only thing that I can imagine someone might not like are these:
1. The location is far from the city centre, BUT it is near the two world heritage sites most people want to visit anyways, and bolt/uber is pretty cheap to get around, so not a massive problem.
2. The kitchen facility isn't great. You can't cook meals (no hob). However, this is fine if you want to eat out most days, only have simple meals that you can heat up in the microwave (there is one), or food/drinks you can keep in the boat's ice cooler (not a fridge but keeps the food cold). Also, as I mentioned before, Nuno is super accommodating, if something is missing that is within his power to provide, then he will probably bring it. The kitchen had no knife, but when I told Nuno, he brought one over the next day.

Just a cool little space to sleep. Great location for the palace, parks, and some great bars and restaurants
It's a long way into the city centre, but I walked in most days, which is just over an hour.
It's a small yacht, with no facilities, but the dock showers and toilets were well kept.
