The locations was spectacular, we had a cottage on the edge so we didn’t have people passing all the time which was great. The facilities like the pool were much appreciated and very clean. The peace and quiet and the views across the farmers fields is one of the best views I have experienced.
When we arrived, my wife had to deep clean the cupboards and fridge before we could unpack. The property was clean but dated and I even had the clean the windows so I could see the view. The recycling was complex although this is not directly related to the host.

Idyllic setting for a lovely, cosy cottage. Spotlessly clean with all amenities you would expect. A welcoming box of biscuits, cake and flowers was a really lovely touch from the owners. An extra bonus was an onsite bar, indoor swimming pool and pool room. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.
The property would benefit from a refresh in decor/furnishings but this certainly did not detract from the comfort and solitude we experienced whilst staying there.

Incredible view outside, breath-taking. Spacious cottage, very nice sitting room and bedrooms. Good shower. Very clean everywhere.
Dining table very small and too close to the front door, a bit of a squeeze for eating. To be honest, I didn't like the smell in the kitchen. It was an old and damp smell, but, it is an old cottage. 1700s I believe? Unless that is the date of the manor house next to it? Also, didn't feel comfortable about using the steps up to the cottage, especially when carrying the luggage.
