It was clean, the room Looks nice, the staff was super friendly. The location is great - nothing to complain about!

The staff helped us with transport to Puerto Princesa. - There is a free water refill in the reception area. - The room was spacious. Shower and bathroom a good size. - The location is good. 5/7 min walk to bus terminal. -Less than 5 min walk to beach

I can not recommend staying here unfortunately and it really made our experience in Port Barton quite miserable. Only that we knew we wouldn’t get money back, we wanted to move and stay elsewhere. The negatives: - The rooms are not how they are pictured online. Very basic and dated, need some work done to them. - Lots, and lots, and lots of ants in the room. Big gap in the bottom of the door also which ants / geckos would have no issue getting through. We had to block this with towels / clothes. - 0 communication / honesty about house keeping. No house keeping provided until we asked on our last day. We were told ‘the house keeper is cleaning other rooms’ which we knew not to be true as she was nowhere to be seen and it looked like there was only one other guest. When the house keeper arrived she told us it was her day off she she had a sore tummy? I appreciate house keeping may be on request- but this was not communicated at check in or at any stage so I think it’s fair to assume that house keeping will be provided daily. - Absolutely 0 communication with the staff beforehand. They advise to not hesitate in contacting them with any questions. I messaged twice before our stay requesting updates on the power situation- no response at all. - Staff are never present. You have to wait on them, just stand looking around and wait for someone to approach you. - There is a lack of communication/ honesty surrounding the power outages. On our two full days we had to request for our water and electricity to be switched on. It is clear that staff do not turn this on unless you ask as they’ll assume you are not using it unless you ask. This meant we were left waiting up to 1 hour for our power to be switched on, despite the fact that the outage is only 04:00-12:00.
