Great potential! Since the location is quite far away then we loved the little self-serviced "shop" with all the essential that's set up in the kitchen area where you can choose what you like and pay for it either in cash or send money through online methods. All the common areas are lovely and with everything you need. Outside there is lots of room and it's beautiful. It's close to Koli national park. Our room was very big and had it's own bathroom. Also had a sink area in the room with basics like plates, cups and cutlery. A table for two for eating in the room. The bathroom was basic but served it's purpose. Check-in is probably 24/7 because there's a little box outside with a code where you can find your key.

This place has great potential but still needs a lot of work. The biggest problem for us was the old smell in the room, which was stuck to our clother when we left after 2 nights. The mattress was bigger than the bed which made it weird to sleep at.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Mummola in Romppalan-Rantakylä. The location is serene and picturesque, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're looking to relax, go for nature walks, or just enjoy the silence, this place delivers. The accommodations were cozy, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, giving a true "home away from home" feeling. The traditional Finnish charm is evident throughout the property, from the decor to the warm and welcoming hospitality. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mummola is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families who want a calm, authentic Finnish countryside experience. I left feeling refreshed and grateful, and I would absolutely return!

Nice and friendly hosts. Calm and quiet environment. I needed to clear my head, and it was just right.

Although it's hot because of the summer, fumigation is maybe necessary both outside and indoor.
