Super confortable in great location and silence ! All sorts of shops are round the corner from supermarkets (Morton Williams our favorite) to restaurants. Walking distance: Met Museum (a must), Guggenheim Museum (enter the atrium, look at the staircase and ça suffit) , Frick Collection (Wednesdays from 1:30 pm "pay what you want", advance bookings are possible), Central Park.
Metro line Q very close and with elevator. To JFK : walk 5 minutes to metro Q, then metro E to Jamaica then Air Link. Cost is less than 12 dollars. Transit time walking time included approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
Intersection Q and E check on metro app (MTA) if escalators/elevators are working.

Everything was perfect! 10 minute walk to Central Park. 10 mins to the nearest Subway station. 20 mins to Times Square and 30 mins to the Liberty Ferry.
