I had a truly delightful stay at Kaluna Villa. The house beautifully reflects a rich Javanese ethnic style, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere that made the experience feel special and memorable.
Although the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning, the natural air is already cool and refreshing, especially considering the villa’s location around Jl. Kaliurang KM 20 at approximately 500 meters above sea level. It actually adds to the charm and makes the stay feel more connected to nature.
There are a couple of small suggestions for improvement. It would be great if the portable gas for grilling could be checked beforehand to ensure it’s full, as we ran out mid-BBQ and had to switch to the indoor stove. Additionally, a karaoke speaker is provided, which is a nice touch, but the battery was unfortunately empty during our stay.
