Secluded property with excellent views only 5 mins drive from Currie. Great design with two separate bedrooms at either end and a central kitchen/living area. Great outdoor balcony space and well appointed.
Signage to get to the property was non existent so was difficult to find initially. Beyond that was lovely.

Location is very quiet with great views of the ocean. Large windows to observe the wallabies & other wildlife. Property is fully off grid.
The bathroom is a bit narrow & could do with a shelf under the basin for toiletries.

We were first-time visitors to King Island, seeking a comfortable base for rest and four days of exploration.
As we entered Admirals Cabin, we were overwhelmed by the surroundings, the view, the interior layout, the style and completeness of the accommodation. A great collection of architecture books for browsing as well as board games, etc for all ages are on hand.
The layout is perfect for two couples, a family of four / five or for just a couple like us. A few km out of Currie but it's a superbly private location.
Fredric, the host, was welcoming and informative online but unobtrusive. Entry and departure is via a lock box.
As a tech nerd, I spent too much time mesmerised by the tablet that monitored the off-grid energy flows ... solar panels, battery and fuel back-up.
We were also joined outside every evening by a cute family of four wallabies and occasionally an echidna moseying about.
... that we couldn't stay longer.
