Beautiful location. Very scenic and serene.

It was a bit confusing on where to check in.

This is definitely a very unique place to stay, which is why we chose it for one night and we don’t regret it at all. It was especially nice in the evening to enjoy the silence and the surrounding landscape. The dinner was great, and the staff was friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also really appreciated that canoe/kayaking was included and free of charge. Another big plus was that the host organized both the arrival and departure, which was included in the price and made everything very smooth.

The room was smaller than we expected, so a bit more space or some shelves for belongings would have been helpful. The walls were also quite thin, so some noise could be heard, although this is understandable given the type and location of the accommodation. It’s also worth noting for future guests that the place is quite remote – aside from kayaking or organized transport, there are limited options to move around. If you want to go back to Cat Ba during the day or evening, you may need to arrange and pay extra for a boat taxi. Overall, still a very positive experience.
