Essendo una vacanza di mare è stato scomodo non avere uno spazio esterno dove stendere i panni.

The apartment is spacious and perfectly located. We loved that it wasn’t in the busy, noisy centre, yet close enough to walk there in 10–15 minutes. The best Croatian restaurant we tried, Konoba Stare Grede, is just 1 minute away, and our favourite breakfast spot, Mendula, is only 5 minutes away. :) There are also plenty of bars and cafés nearby, as well as good options to buy groceries if you want to cook. Finding parking isn’t too difficult if you check the surrounding streets. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The check-in was easy and smooth. We would definitely come back!

A few small things could improve the stay: leaving a note explaining how to turn on the hot water (it’s not a common system), a toaster and a frying pan in addition to the pot, and a place to dry clothes to reduce humidity and dry wet towels or swimsuits. The internet was once disrupted, but that’s not an issue if you’re not on a workation. One night, we spotted a tiny cockroach in the bathroom, but in such a humid location that’s probably hard to avoid. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay :)

El apartamento para 2 personas está muy bien. Estaba todo limpio y bastante nuevo. También tenía aire acondicionado. No tenía mala situación respecto al centro de la ciudad, como a 15 minutos andando. En el barrio había tiendas, panaderías y algún restaurante.

Es muy complicado aparcar cerca. La cocina es compartida con otro apartamento y vimos que le faltaba un tostador de pan y una tabla para cortar. La ducha va con calentador, que cuando llegamos estaba apagado y uno de nosotros se tuvo que duchar con agua fría porque no había manera de encontrar donde se encendía. Resulta que era un interruptor que estaba en la pared, al lado de la luz, pero no lo sabíamos. Como recomendación no estaría mal dejar una nota en la habitación de dónde está y como encenderlo.
