There was no sharp knives to cook

Easy to find the key lock Safe, However, was a little confusing due to once through the metal door we automatically thought the first door down the path was the correct, but key did not work, we looked further down whilst another family members were checking the front door, key didn’t work and the tenant came around the corner asking us rest were we doing😬 he then informed us it was right at the back of the house, which was in his back garden. A converted garage which was quite compact but adequate and looked and smelt nice on entering. It was confusing because at the back of the main house there was tarpaulin covering the main house, which makes you think that there is nothing further, as you automatically know that someone lives there, so don’t want to go into their back garden! The host solved issues quickly and was very pleasant, communicated fast too. It was 10-15min walk to retail shopping centre. Safe secure enclosed area.

The pathway leading to the apartment has a fixed metal box which hubby tripped on, the main house has some plywood outside the side door which was not safe. Although the apartment look nice when we walked in; it was then noticeable that it wasn’t as clean as it looked. Found the window sills behind the blinds (once op-ed) full of dust, the walls have marks on them, hairs on the floor on bathroom and around bedside table, kitchen tap had to be used by two hands (due to being loose). The sofa bed mattress was very thin also had stain marks on. The pillow slips were marked and duvet smelt musty. Host did solve this problem out quickly. His cleaner called to change them. However, we realised the reason why the linen did smell musty probably because the clean linen was stored in a box behind the tarpaulin 🤷‍♀️ nothing ironed either. Disappointing to see.
