Kings Run Retreat Patio

Location to town, amenities (other than the cooking equipment, was awesome

Cooking wear. Please invest into updating your pans and spatulas.

Convenient location to Northstar, clean and cozy

Finding the building and unit number was not easy, especially with and evening check in and dark time. Instructions were a bit vague as to which one was building 2 and where the unit was. I’d recommend providing a map of the property with clear instructions on which parking lot to use. Also, lichen pots and pan were very old and scratched.

Nice quiet location outside of town.

The beds/matreses were a little too soft.

The location of the place is great. The apartment is surrounded by beautiful nature and the drive to Lake Tahoe is short and easy.

The apartment didn't meet up with the expectation that we got while booking. It looks like the owner doesn't care about the place, it's run down. We have some safety concers. The oven turns on way too easily, so if you work in the kitchen, it turns on without you noticing (the knob is super loose). The oven was on when we walked in. The burners of the stove top were broken and only one worked. There is a nice heater, that looks beautiful, but doesn't work and has loose batteries in the bottom. The hygiëne and comfort wasn't up to expectations either. The place was clean at first sight, but obviously hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. There were burnholes in the pillows. There were only 3 very soft old pillows on the bed. The bed was extremely soft, old and uncomfortable. We only got provided two towels for a whole week stay and there was no bath mat for the shower. These are very cheap and easy to provide, which just shows that the owner doesn't care about the property. On top of that, the apartment is very noisy. We heard the upstairs neighbor walking clearly every time they moved.
