Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and affordable accommodation, relaxing place, big rooms. The dog, Ares, is a plus!
You will need tuk tuk rides or to rent a scooter to move around, but that's compensated by being more in nature than in a city centre:)
What we didn't like is that we had to witness a very bitter discussion between what we think it's the owner/manager and someone from the staff. He was raising the voice and, regardless of the reasons, it was honestly really unpleasant and at some point we felt like we had to move away from the pool area (we were the only ones there at that moment) because we felt uncomfortable. We understand there can be moments of tension in a workplace, but there should be more consideration and professionalism on such matters, which include choosing a more proper place to discuss.
