Bright & Cosy Flat in Maida Vale

Très bien placé, pas loin du Wembley Stadium ou du centre. Le quartier est agréable et calme. Metro et supermarché à environ 10 minutes de marche. Bus au pied de l’immeuble. L’appartement est confortable et très bien équipé. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Les 2 ventilateurs étaient les bienvenus pendant cette semaine de grosse chaleur ! L’hôte est sympathique et super réactive.

L’appartement n’est pas très bien isolé. Il y a un parc juste derrière (coté chambre) donc cela est assez bruyant lorsque les gens font du sport ou que les enfants jouent. Le store dans la chambre n’est pas du tout occultant, prévoyez un masque pour dormir si vous aimez dormir dans l’obscurité. Le lit est un peu petit pour 2 personnes.

The host gave clear simple instructions so I felt confident finding the property and locating the key, even in the dark. The flat was exactly as described: clean, cosy and with everything I needed. It was ideal having a fully working kitchen so that I could cook for myself rather than having to spend money eating out every night.

The pillows on the bed weren't the best.

Good layout, interesting art, well stocked kitchen pots, pans, cutlery etc. comfortable bed.

No seating for meals for a couple. Only one folding chair at a small table and a bar stool for the island that was too high to sit on comfortably. Not enough dishwasher tablets. No written instructions for heat use (had to contact host for instructions). The apt info sheet provided was not appropriate to the accommodation and seemed as if it applied to another rental unit e.g. incorrect directions to nearest underground station and restaurants that were miles away but listed as right next door. Dangerous lack of lighting on the upper stairway to the apt. Contacted host and we were told there were motion sensors. Those only worked halfway up the staircase but not for the top floor apt. A light did come on automatically after 10 PM which wasn’t helpful or safe for us when we needed it
