I would highly recommend this house for a large group. It has 7 bedrooms separated into 3 parts of the house - 1 bedroom with full bath on the main floor in the back with 3 steps to get to it. The right section has both a front and back door with 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 with double beds) and a full bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. The left side has 3 bedrooms upstairs with 1 full bath upstairs and a 1/2 bath downstairs. All 3 parts have a full kitchen supplied with pans, dishes, glasses, cups and tableware and a Keurig coffee maker with 4 types of coffee. There were games to play books to read and music available with a cd/record player. Beds were comfortable. Heat worked very well. Great back patio. Washer and dryer in all 3 parts of the house with detergent. Dishwasher in all 3 kitchens. House was very clean. We stayed 3 nights, and everyone had a great time. Would rate 5 stars plus.

The place was nice to book for a large group. It is a massive house split into three separate rentals. The smallest has a kitchen, full bath and bed. The other two have 3 bedrooms one with 1.5 bath the other two full baths. It worked very well for our group because the outside space provided the perfect area for us all to convene for dinner. Some kitchen stuff may have been moved from one to the other because one seemed more stocked than another, but since we were all together it was not a big deal. The place is just a block from town and we made the half mile or so walk down to the lake a few times. Very nice stay.

I spent a week with my spouse, 2 adult children and their families in this house. This house was almost tailor-made for our family! There were 2 larger "apartments" which were perfect for my children's families which include 2 and 3 children. One of those units has a larger dining room table where all 11 of us could eat a meal together. My spouse and I stayed in the smaller "in-law suite" unit which has a full kitchen and single bedroom. All 3 families had privacy but we could be together indoors for meals as well as congregating on the lovely patio in the backyard. We appreciated the gas grill and grilled our dinner one night. We also enjoyed the "firepit" on the patio a couple of nights. There is a bar with outside seating and live musicians adjacent to the backyard. But the music stopped around 9:00 pm or so, it wasn't every evening, and the musicians were enjoyable. In addition, the house must be nicely soundproofed because I couldn't hear the music when I was inside with the door closed. The location of the house was perfect - 1 1/2 blocks from Main Street. We walked into town several times including to lovely restaurants and bakeries. I also walked to the lake and back - approximately 2-3 miles round trip. All in all, I highly recommend this house for multigenerational families as well as for friends who would like to be together yet have the option to have some privacy. The setting makes the town of Canandaigua accessible and the lake is easily reached by car or foot.
