Very clean, big bedrooms with good mattresses. The great room and kitchen is very big with large dining table for families. Upstairs bedroom loft has 4 twin beds. Great for kids. Only thing is there is no door at top of steps if you have little ones. Dog friendly and I highly recommend.

This was a great weekend away with our adult kids. The home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We spent most of our day time at Hocking Hills hiking. It's a bit too far to go back and forth to the park but a good distance if you want to stay at park for several hours and then be away from other people and have quiet and privacy. We spent time around fire making pizza pies, hot dogs and S'mores enjoyed the hot tub and the guys were able to check the college football scores periodically also. Quality family time.

Beautiful property house felt like home. Very nicely decorated and clean. They have thought of everything from towels for showers and separate towels for the hot tub, to cookware dishes and spices. The hot tub was clean and very enjoyable. I very highly recommend this rental property and plan to book again next year.

My husband buried his mom Friday. So I talked him into going. The funeral was in Ashland Ohio. So we did a lot of driving ( to and back from Lima ). As soon as we got there, we sat out on the patio and he started talking about the day. He was relaxing and thanked me over and over. It was originally supposed to be a girls weekend away. The property was clean and well equipped with everything we could need on our stay. It even had dog bowls and baggies for walking your dog. It is a very lovely home. We enjoyed the hot tub, it had a curtain on the side of the deck for privacy.The loft can get a bit hot, however they provided plenty of fans and our kids didn't seem to mind. It was exceptionally hot outside as we stayed in July so I wasn't surprised that it was warm up there.The host was amazing, when we got there it had been raining very heavily and our truck got stuck in the mud on the side of the driveway. John showed up the next morning and helped pull us out. He went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful!

My family stayed at this exceptionally clean house in the woods and enjoyed the accommodations thoroughly. Everything was clean and uncluttered, the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were well stocked and easy to figure out. And the hot tub was great. They even had all sorts of wonderful things to accommodate our dog! The owners are very thoughtful, and their thorough attention to detail make this a stress-free vacation rental to enjoy the beautiful offerings of the Hocking Hills area.

House was wonderful. Neighborhood quiet. Easily accomodates 5 adults. Washer and dryer great option to have. Enjoyed hot tub even in 90 degree temps.Soaps, garbage bags, paper towels, variety of pans, dishware all truly mattered. Thank you for providing for our furry friend also.

This home is beautiful inside and out! The setting is perfect. Just far enough from town to be peaceful snd relaxing. The hot tub felt wonderful after a long dat of hiking. The only drawback was that the water pressure in kitchen sink, master bath sink an toilet are extremely low. It will take the toilet 30 to 40 minutes to refil after flushing. We carried hot water from the guest bathroom sink to the kitchen to wash dishes. Other than these things, the stay was perfect.

We had a great stay at John's cabin. The weather didn't cooperate well, so we spent more time in the cabin than planned, which did not disappoint. Enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen - even little things we forgot to pack, like toothpicks, were available! Check in was easy at this beautiful property. All utilities and appliances worked without issue, including the hot tub built into the back deck. Enjoyed that during a light snowstorm.

The house was cozy and clean. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The hot tub had a low water level which prevented us from being able to enjoy the tub the first night but the host was quick to respond to my outreach and remedied the issue right away! We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is great and not too far from restaurants. We were also able to find a really fun arcade in Columbus we stopped at before arriving to the house, it was worth the stop and gave the kids a break from the drive! The house was large enough for our kids so we didn't feel cramped and they felt like they had their own space. The location has a remote feel but the security of some neighboring houses. Definitely wanting to return in the summer!

We stayed at John’s home starting the day after Christmas. It was such a beautiful and clean home. Every small detail was taken care of. Beds were very comfortable and the kids loved sleeping upstairs all in one room. Kitchen had everything we needed including a Kuerig and a traditional coffee pot. Hot tub was great and the view of the woods behind the house was nice. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend.

This is such as cozy home and felt so welcoming. Everything is brand new and super clean. Large floor plan with plenty of room to move around. Owner had entire house decorated for the holidays, so it was a perfect home away from home for Christmas.Location is a half hour north of the popular Hocking Hills spots, but is a scenic drive, especial if you decide to take the back roads.If you're up for a 4-mile hike with a challenging climb and descent I highly recommend adding Christmas Rock to your list of things to do. Caution no pets allowed on this hike.

We like to cook when we travel so that was a bummer. Hot tub was very nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean, beds very comfy. Overall, a great trip. Would rent again.

The cabin was exactly as described. It was newly remodeled, spacious, and was in a quiet setting. It was big enough for the 7 of us and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
