Niedernsill is a charming village in the heart of Austria's Salzburgerland region. It is centrally located between the famous ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See, as well as the Kitzbühler Alps.
Just 20 minutes from the accommodation, you can take the Porsche Design gondola to the Schmittenhöhe ski area in Zell am See in winter. Both beginners and families with children get their money's worth on the gentle slopes near the Niedernsill lifts. Here, there is a beginner's lift with a length of about 300 m and a drag lift with a length of about 600 m. By car, you can easily reach the ski resorts of Zell am See-Kaprun and the Kitzbühel Alps.

The recreational lake in Niedernsill brings excellent cooling on hot summer days, and the surrounding area has much more to offer. For example, the famous Krimml waterfalls (the highest in Europe), the Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße, the Kaprun reservoirs and, of course, the countless hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Between Piesendorf and Niedernsill, hikers can explore the impressive cultural landscape trail. From here, you also have stunning views of the Salzach Valley!
