Enjoy a riverside fire while watching Freighters pass 200 yards in front of this cozy retreat that features 1 bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a modern bathroom with a shower, and an additional sleeping space with a sofa bed. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, a washing machine and heating, during your stay. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our house. This property features a private beach with a shallow bay for swimming and two kayaks. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown Sault Ste. Marie, featuring the Soo locks. The Soo locks and freighters are shut down until March.

This is as perfect for our one night stay in town! What a cozy and clean place! We even got to see a freighter go by! We would definitely like to come back in the summer.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! The house was exactly what we needed. The host was very hospitable and accommodating. Very peaceful, quiet, relaxing getaway. Saw lots of ships go by and close to town. Can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay! The location is perfect for exploring the Soo and Canada. Watching the freighters pass right in front of the house was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

The site is exceptional with a large riverside lawn and river view of freighters going by day and night. Very cool. The interior was clean, however, on entering the house, there was an overpowering and annoying smell coming from three plug in air fresheners which lingered well after we unplugged them and which had us wondering if there was something else being masked. The interior is also an unfinished work in process, which we were somewhat cautioned about after booking, but before our arrival date, though that should be moot by next year when they are finished with the renovations. Finally, the bathroom/laundry room had the cheapest toilet paper available, a small, but easily avoidable annoyance that every guest will notice.
