Welcome to Above Expectations, where rustic charm meets refined comfort in the heart of the North Georgia mountains. Tucked away on 2.5 private, wooded acres in Morganton, near Blue Ridge. This cozy-yet-luxurious cabin offers everything you need for a rejuvenating getaway with family or friends - complete with panoramic long-range mountain views from the master bedroom, upgraded amenities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that truly lives up to its name.
As you make your way along winding country roads past rolling pastures and vintage farmhouses, you'll feel your everyday worries begin to melt away. When you arrive, the red tin roof and classic front porch will immediately invite you in. Whether you are curled up by the fireplace, soaking in the outdoor hot tub, or sipping coffee on one of three decks, Above Expectations is a place to relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories.
Directions:
Waze, Apple Maps and MapQuest can all guide you to the property, but for the most accurate and precise directions, we recommend using Google Maps. Once you turn onto Fawn Trail from star Creek Road, you’ll drive about 150 meters on a gravel trail leading to the cabin (Above Expectations). A regular 2WD vehicle handles it fine, but if you are bringing a trailer, a 4WD is best.

Sleeps up to 8 comfortably: 2 king bedrooms, 2 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa
Three full bathrooms across three levels for convenience and privacy
Pet-friendly for up to 2 well-behaved dogs (with prior approval)

The terrace level is your personal game haven with a bumper pool/poker table, dart board, chess/checkers, classic arcade machine (Pac-Man and more), Foosball, and a second 75” Smart TV with a leather sofa. Rain or shine, the fun doesn’t stop here!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful trees. The outdoor fire pit was great and the hot tub worked perfectly. I was really impressed at the water pressure and temperature of the showers. Kitchen was slightly cramped with more than one person but it was well stocked with everything we needed. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Blue Ridge at this home! The host was very attentive to messages , the home itself was fully stocked , the beds were beyond comfortable, the massive back porch with outdoor fireplace and grill were perfect for lounging and eating … and we could not get enough of the game room options too! The fire pit area was a perfect spot for starry nights as well. It was a short idyllic drive to the Lake Blue Ridge Marina and the town of Blue Ridge too… Definitely will be back !

The cabin was very comfortable and the outside deck area was large and included a separate fireplace and TV, which was fantastic. The owner was very accommodating and always quick with the responses. Communication was great. The land was nice as far as outside being able to run around and play for the kids.Highly recommend this property we will definitely be back for another visit
