Welcome to Mayway Retreat in the heart of Echota. This beautifully renovated, single-level 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, lower-level condo combines high-end finishes with cozy, thoughtful design—perfect for a peaceful getaway or a basecamp for High Country adventures.
Step into a bright, open-concept living space where the custom kitchen is the heart of the home. With stainless steel appliances, a spacious central island, and custom cabinetry stocked with cooking essentials, it's ready for everything from morning coffee to family dinners. The dining area features a stunning live-edge table with ample seating, ideal for gathering with loved ones.
The living room invites you to relax in style with a large leather sectional, gas log fireplace, and a big-screen TV—all set against a backdrop of expansive mountain views. Open the doors to the deck, where you can sip your coffee, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and soak in the vibrant view.
All three bedrooms are designed with rest and privacy in mind, each featuring its own private TV and bathroom. The luxurious primary suite includes a king bed, dedicated workspace, private deck access, and a spa-like ensuite with a custom tiled shower and double granite vanity. The second suite also offers a plush king bed and a private ensuite bath, this one with a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom is ideal for families, with a full-over-full bunk bed and an ensuite bathroom with shared hallway access, also featuring a tub/shower combo.
Located in the gated Echota community, guests also enjoy access to premium amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, fitness centers, walking trails, and more—all just a short drive from Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Guests staying at Mayway Retreat have access to both of Echota Resort's clubhouses. Between them, guests will have use of an indoor pool and hot tub, two fitness centers, an outdoor pool with a waterfall and mountain views, a game room, and two event spaces. Echota Resort also offers several wonderful hiking trails, an outdoor sports recreation area, a riverside park, Watauga River Trout Fishing, and in-club catch & release fishing at either of two stocked ponds. Please note that the hot tub is not at the home but in the clubhouse, and pets are absolutely not permitted in Echota Resort. All Echota homes have an additional amenity fee of $15/day in order to maintain the luxurious amenities that is capped at $70 total for your stay. If you are staying more than 5 nights, please reach out to us so that we can manually cap this fee.

- There is a strict limit of two (2) cars parked at the property. Additional vehicles may be parked at the indoor pool/clubhouse just a short drive away. DO NOT park more than two cars at this home.
- Pets are absolutely not permitted in Echota Rentals.
- AWD/4WD is required in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full-time residents nearby.

The Mayway Retreat where we stayed was amazing and the scenery was breathtaking. The accommodation was warm and welcoming. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The family room was very accommodating. The kitchen was very well supplied with about every utensil needed to prepare a home cooked meal. The pools offered a relaxing and scenic view. Can't wait to return.
