The accommodation is quietly situated in the countryside, just a 3-minute drive from the centre of Melendugno, well-positioned for easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in Salento. The beaches of San Foca and Torre dell’Orso, which are known for their pristine water, are less than 15 minutes away.
The town of Melendugno is easily explored on foot. Visitors will enjoy the lovely churches and the Castello Baronale d’Amely. There are several good local restaurants as well as a weekly market (Wednesday mornings) where you can find regional specialities such as olive oil, wine, cheese and fresh vegetables.
The city of Lecce (20 minutes) is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit, not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.
The nearest airport is Brindisi Airport, just under an hour away by car. Local transportation options include buses that connect to nearby towns, making it easy to explore the region.
