Great service and near the metro so food and travel easy access

We booked a 3-bed apartment, and the hotel was able to accommodate our last-minute booking adjustment. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to Beijing Lu, with a metro station right below the apartment as well as shopping malls. It was also very convenient for visiting the nearby wholesale centres. A special thanks to 小跃 at the reception for being so helpful, patient, and resourceful, especially in helping us navigate the local apps. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Guangzhou. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

I booked two rooms: one Deluxe Queen Room and one Deluxe Twin Room. When we checked in at 2:00 PM, the staff informed us that the Deluxe Queen Room would only be ready in another 45 minutes. They had already given us the room key and told us they were waiting for housekeeping to finish cleaning the room. We waited for more than 50 minutes and even contacted the reception via WeChat. They replied that the hotel was fully occupied and housekeeping was trying to prepare our room as soon as possible. After waiting even longer, my husband went upstairs to check the room himself. To our surprise, the previous guests were still inside, and there was no sign of housekeeping. We then returned to the reception, where the staff assigned us a different room, saying it was an upgrade. However, I honestly didn't feel it was an upgrade. The replacement room was located at the far end of the 27th floor and had a strong, strange smell, almost like plastic or helium. We were exhausted after our red-eye flight and didn't have the energy to complain, so we just wanted to rest. Unfortunately, the smell was still there the next day and made it difficult to sleep that night. We requested another room change, and a staff member came to inspect the room before giving us the key to a room with two queen beds. However, we were told that we would need to move again the following morning to a room with one queen bed because the two-queen room was in high demand. This meant packing and unpacking our luggage twice. We didn't want to argue, so we agreed. The next morning, after packing everything and bringing our room keys to reception, we were unexpectedly told that we no longer needed to change rooms. While I was relieved that we didn't have to move again, I was also frustrated by the poor communication and constantly changing arrangements. Overall, the customer service needs significant improvement. It was disappointing that our room was not ready at the official check-in time, and I also suspect the staff knew there was an issue with the replacement room but assigned it to us because they couldn't provide our original room. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Beijing Road. The rooms were clean, and having a washing machine was a very convenient feature.
