Enjoyed the house and patio very much, it felt like home. Love the beach/lake decorations. Beds were comfy and had plenty of hot water. I gave it 5 stars but could of been 4 since the dock was unusable but completely out of control of the owners. We tried all ways of securing our boat but the main channel was just too rough to keep our tritoon tied up to the dock.

Place was as described. We had a great time. We had some really smart successful people with us, including a well known well respected leader in the technology field. However with all the brain power in the room, we were not smarter than the 1980’s microwave. Loved the instructions in the book. Needless to say we used the backup microwave. This place is in perfect 1980’s condition. It was a really incredible throwback kind of stay. Thank you for sharing the home.

I will start with the good. The management is super amazing! Annmarie was really sweet and helpful in changing the dates of our stay.The view from the master bedroom is amazing. The master bedroom is beautiful! The towels were pretty soft. There is plenty of hot water. The deck was nice and had a beauttiful view. The downside to the deck is the tree drops the little brown wispy things constantly. The house is a good size and has a lot of potential to be an amazing property. The downsides are the house smells awful. There is a strong mildew or mold smell. We had to leave the windows open our entire stay because it was so awful if they were closed. Even with them open it was not good for your sinuses. The 1st 2 days it was really nice so the windows being open was not a problem. The last 2 days it was a little chilly to have them open, but we still did. There was a dead worm on the floor in the master bedroom and dried food or something on the carpet. The house looked like it hadn't been dusted in a long time. The showers are made for midgets. I am only 5'4 and the shower was way too short. The pots and pans in the kitchen are not a win. It seems like nothing in the house has been updated since the 70s. I know it's being sold as a theme and that could be cute. It seems more like a reality and the house just needs a lot of updating. They could keep the theme but put in things like fresh flooring and paint the walls.
