Really good and cozy apartment. We were with the small kid and it was exactly what was needed. Large patio where we had lovely breakfasts on the fresh air, well equipped kitchen and comfy bed! What else is needed for the perfect stay

Really cosy, excellent location and had a homely feel.

There was a musty smell when we arrived. I used a plug in aromatic and we aired the flat out each day. There is some wear on soft furnishings, but the flat is comfortable and has a great bathroom. The owner was very approachable about any issues and I’m sure they will sort out these things.

The apartment is in a good location, just a 10-minute walk from Portobello Road, with a bus stop right in front of the building. Check-in was smooth and easy via a code that was sent in advance. The flat is well-equipped with everything one might need.

The cellar-level position of the apartment may be the reason for the musty smell that seems to be embedded in the upholstered furniture and cannot be eliminated by airing out. In the bathroom, there are already visible mold stains on the ceiling due to the moisture. Another drawback is the ventilation system, which is activated together with the bathroom light. Once switched on, it runs noisily for quite a while through an air shaft located directly above the bedroom’s bed. Also, in the living room, the traffic noise was so loud with the front door closed that it felt as if the door were open. The second bed is definitely only suitable for children in terms of length and should not be considered for an average-sized adult. Access to Netflix was available only for one day. The following day, we were no longer able to log in because the licenses had been used up. (TV-channels are not available).
