The former school building in Kelloselkä, Salla, has been converted into cozy holiday apartments. Renovated in 2024, this apartment is located just 16 km northeast of Salla and serves as an excellent base for hiking, snowmobiling, hunting, and other outdoor activities in Eastern Lapland. The apartment features a spacious living room and a bright, roomy kitchen. One bedroom has a 160 cm wide double bed, and the other bedroom has two separate 80 cm wide beds. The living room contains a sofa bed, which is 140 cm wide when opened. The washroom includes a shower and WC. In shared use with another apartment: a sauna, washing facilities, washing machine in the basement, and a tepee in the yard. The apartment provides great opportunities for winter activities; a cross-country ski trail starts directly from the yard, a snowmobile trail network runs just a stone's throw away, and Salla Ski Resort is less than a 30-minute drive (approx. 26 km). If you’re interested in water activities, the Aatsinkijoki River, perfect for canoe trips, flows just around 600 meters away. Pets are welcome for a small additional fee.
