Another thing happened the next morning when we went out, the black ice on the wooden steps at the entrance almost made us slip and fall.

Only that it was very icy on the deck, hard to fix? More of the non slip strips maybe?

This is a whole home, which is well equipped with all you are likely to need for a comfortable stay. It was great having use of a washing machine to get on top of things after some time on the road. Well located for the lakes and Aoraki.

The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, and the water is nice and hot.

The air conditioner occasionally turns itself off, so you have to keep checking that it is still running. The gas stove could not be used. Gas was coming through, but there appeared to be a problem with the ignition system, so we were unable to use the kitchen. We tried contacting customer service, but no one answered. We left a message, but nobody contacted us before we checked out.
