Casa dos Golfinhos

The beach, the ocean, the waves it's all fantastic. The view from the apartment is gorgeous. Our Property owner was really nice. And helpful. In spite of our lack of speaking Portuguese. Everybody speaks enough English to make us feel right at home! Wonderful. The apartment had everything we needed. Including a cat. The black cat would come into the home every morning and every evening. Meowing. Purring and walking from room to room. Checking under the beds. And sharpening her nails on the mattress!

Not being Portuguese made it difficult for us to find the correct block of apartments. We found one block labeled A-B. Letters were faded and partially covered with paint. We asked several people in the same complex but no one helped us! Apparently no one in Sesimbra knows where "Bloc A" can be found. I sent a message to the owner. She was waiting for us. A little worried. Luckily my daughter saw a lady waiting in front of one of the apartment blocks. The Property Owner with the keys. Later, I walked around the square, the complex but never found another label. Never found the "A"! I guess one must be Portuguese to find the right house numbers. Or just lucky. Who knows.
