Welcome to our home in the centre of Bergen!

We liked the location and having the space.

We felt the flat could have been a little more inviting when we first arrived, and initially it felt slightly unloved. The pillows on both the bed and sofa also looked quite tired and well used, which added to this impression. There were a few simple essentials missing that we would normally expect in a self-catering flat, such as an iron and board, , kettle and hairdryer. The towels also looked quite well used. For people coming for a weekend, having these everyday essentials available can make a real difference and would certainly add to the overall experience. That said, once we had warmed the flat up, it became much more comfortable — and, in many ways, it felt warmer too. 😊 With a few small touches and some attention to the essentials, we think the flat could feel much more welcoming.

Very good location, nice living room, dish washer and washing machine were really conviniient to have!

Towels and linings could be more organised.

Adorabile appartamento nel cuore di Bergen

Poca flessibilità sulla nostra richiesta di deposito bagagli

The location is on a very quaint street, unfortunately the guide books all agree and there was 40-50 tourists walking past our apartment daily, including smoking, and talking

The place is small and cramped, there is no place to put your clothes or suitcase except on sofa. The bedroom was the size of the bed plus cabinets mostly already filled by host with extra bedding. The cost was similar to a hotel that would also include breakfast ( which can be expensive in Norway) and fresh towels as wanted.
