Il bilocale è bellissimo e davvero spazioso, ottimo anche per soggiorni prolungati. Posizione ottima per girare a milano.

We stayed at Elegante Bilocale in Zona Tortona. The apartment has great potential — it’s spacious, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location right on the route of tram 14, making it very easy to reach the city center. The photos are accurate, and the place includes everything you might need: a kitchen, private bathroom, washing machine, air conditioning, and even a small balcony with a nice view of the courtyard

There were a few issues that made our stay less comfortable than expected. I arrived late for check-in and was informed that the Wi-Fi was not working, which meant the garden door couldn’t be opened remotely. I had to ring random apartments OR wait about 45 minutes for someone with keys to arrive. At 22:00 in a new city, this was quite stressful. Luckily, a kind resident eventually let me in, and after a few phone calls I managed to get the door code and access the apartment. The next day I had trouble locking and unlocking the door — the battery in the smart lock was almost dead, and it took several tries (and some anxiety) before I managed to open it. Please replace the battery for future guests. There was also no hot water on arrival. After messaging the host, I was told to read the instructions in the provided link, but I think it’s important that the basics (Wi-Fi, hot water, working lock) are checked before guests arrive. The washing machine was moldy, likely because it’s stored inside a closed cupboard, so it doesn’t dry properly. The sofa had a large stain, which made it feel too dirty to sit on, and the bed was extremely soft — you sink into it completely, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi signal was also quite weak once it was working again.

Good location, spacious apartment

The access system was problematic and did not function properly or take into account of the possibility of someone travelling not to be able to access a sufficiently fast mobile internet connection. I had to telephone numerous times and the person I spoke to was clearly exasperated which felt very unwelcoming after a long day travelling. While the apartment was generally clean, the bed was not made up properly and there was no top sheet, only a quilt with non removable cover. The shutter in the bedroom was broken and could not be raised so there was no natural light, there were also no bedside lights. In the living room the TV did not seem to work and there was a large stain on the sofa. There was no coffee provided and no tea towels in the kitchen and no wine glasses. Bathroom towels were of extremely poor quality. Overall lack of care and attention to detail
