Nonna's Eftihia cottage on the hill

Since the moment we booked, I have been in very good contact with Gerasimos. When arriving in Kefalonia he helped us find the place and showed us how everything was working in the house. We stayed here for 8 nights and loved the place! We enjoyed the peace and calm of the location of the house. You have to walk up a hill to reach the house (this is just 100meters) and afterwards you will be rewarded with an amazing view. The living area is quite big, so you have plenty of room for your stuff. There was good working airconditioning, which made it comfortable during the warm summer period. There are shutters to make the room dark, but also keeps the warmth out of the house. The kitchen had a large fridge, so it was easy to store some food to prepare breakfast and have cold drinks at the place. The kitchen also has all the utilities if you want to cook (what we didn’t do, because come on you are in Greece!) The bathroom might seem a little out dated, but we had always warm water to shower and for us this was the most important thing. Last, the house is located outside of Argostoli in a small town. I would only book this if you have a car so you can easily go explore everything that Kefalonia has to offer!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Since we have been in contact with Gerasimos from the moment I booked the place, I was aware of the path to the house and maybe the older bathroom. Just remember that you are staying in an old authentic house!
