Aranis Central Apartment

​Excellent hospitality by Stefanos! Stefanos was an amazing host. The service and hospitality were outstanding, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Γενικά: Τοποθεσία δίπλα στο κέντρο. Σε 15 λεπτά είσαι στη λίμνη. Όντως υπάρχει κοινόχρηστο πάρκινγκ στον ακάλυπτο του οικοδομικού τετραγώνου. Οι οδηγίες για την εύρεση του κλειδιού εύκολες. Εντός του διαμερίσματος: Άνετα κρεβάτια. Εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα. Πήγαμε οικονενειακώς με 3 παιδιά, και ο Στέφανος μας ένωσε τα δύο μονά κρεβάτια σε ένα υπέρδιπλο, πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Ο οικοδεσπότης απαντούσε στο τηλέφωνο οποτεδήποτε τον χρειαστήκαμε.

If you need a place to stay in Ioannina, would like more space than a standard hotel room, and would like to be treated as visiting royalty, you MUST stay in the Aranis Central Apartment. Mr. Stefanos (the owner) has gone out of his way to make this apartment have *everything* that you could possibly want. The apartment is impeccably clean and lovingly maintained. The kitchen is as well stocked as mine at home - even better in some regards (e.g. it has a panini press and espresso machine - neither of which I have in my own kitchen). Personal touches - like a welcome letter, small bottles of the local raki, more bottled water than you'll probably use, coffee and tea, games/puzzles, a desk with writing material, baklava - all make you feel like you're staying with a long-time friend who's happy for your visit and has gone out of their way to ensure your comfort. The apartment is truly 'central' - in the heart of downtown Ioannina, just 10 minutes' walk from the castle. Arriving at the apartment by car the first time can seem a little intimidating - downtown Ioannina traffic, unfamiliar one-way streets, and also a gate blocking the parking lot. Don't let that scare you off. I contacted Mr. Stefanos to let him know of our arrival plans (he's on WhatsApp - English communication was very good), he was there at the gate when we drove up (Google map directions are spot-on accurate), he opened the gate, and we drove straight into the private lot. That was MOST appreciated. That the apartment has a gate-controlled parking lot (shared with other units) should not be under-estimated - if not for this wonderful and rare amenity you would be stuck trying to find a parking space every time you returned to the unit. We made good use of the kitchen, having all of our breakfasts and dinners in the unit. The unit is one level up from the ground and is easily reached by stairs or elevator (the elevator is in good working order).

Comfort apartment with free parking space. Very convenient for exploring the old town of Ioannina. Quiet place, comfort beds. Excellent communication with the host!
