Casa Erica - Charming Quinta with Private Pool

Fantastic villa, really homely and great facilities. Both the owner and host were really friendly and responsive. Very peaceful location with lovely trees around the pool area, a lot of care has gone into making this villa special. SPAR shop and resort restaurant just around the corner, we also didn't think it was a difficult walk to Carvoeiro which has great night life and the beach.

Het huis is exht prachtig, binnen is groter dan de fotos kunnen laten zien. We hadden de eerste dagen te maken met extreme warmte. Daar hebben we binnen totaal geen last van gehad, elke kamer is goed te koelen met airco. De tuin met zwembad was heerlijk om te zijn met de kinderen. Halverwege de week kwam een keer de tuinman langs die eerst heel vriendelijk aanbelde om te vragen of het ok was als hij begon met zijn werkzaamheden. Je zit vlakbij allemaal prachtige stranden, direct om de hoek zit een supermarkt die elke dag vers brood heeft en een prima restaurantje voor als je een keer niet zo ver wilt. De slaapkamers waren enorm! En de bedden heerlijk. Ik heb nog wat werk meetings tussendoor moeten doen en dat ging prima met het wifi. En savonds hebben we nog films gekeken op de home cinema. 10/10

Loved the space snd culture within the whole property. Pretty gardens. Very peaceful setting. Great pool and so many extras available in the kitchen and toys/inflatables etc. perfect for a family . Instantly felt comfortable and special .

The resort next door is not as advertised. No kids play area indoor, and very poor facilities and no activities which was a shame .

The property was very unique . Really well organised and spacious . Pool was fabulous . Air conditioning in bedrooms / living area. Table tennis lovely addition. Our flight was delayed - Anna was fab on arrival . Very helpful and lovely person It’s an old traditional building that gave it charm but with all the modern equipment you could need.

The bathrooms / kitchen floors and shower areas in both bathrooms could have been cleaner as well as the living area / lots of thick dust around couches / under beds . Floors were generally dirty. I can understand the dust from the original tiles in the hallway / living areas but bathrooms / kitchen should be extra clean. I would call this a 5 star property with 5 star pricing so would expect it to be spotless on arrival. It also lacked towels - just one set each for the showers. Hand towel / bath towel . There is a washing machine so I had this on regularly to wash the towels as there was no spares . The pool/ beach towels were very light cotton sheets- would have preferred towels but that’s just a personal opinion. Air conditioning in the entrance area / kitchen would be a plus as it got quite hot in these areas. But full air con in bedroom and 2 units in living area which were both needed for July heat!
